I believe there are many seasons of life and we are not meant to walk through the valleys alone. Sometimes we need someone to come alongside us and help us go back up the mountain.
Life is a journey.
I believe it takes courage and perseverance to seek and utilize counseling services.
My goal is to help individuals find strength, balance, and meaning in living. I utilize the strengths of the client to develop coping skills and direction.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor I encourage client’s to find their own path and empower them to become their best possible selves. My background includes specialized training in play therapy, parenting, mental health counseling, mindfulness, 12 step recovery, and couples counseling.
I have worked in the mental health profession for over 9 years with ages 1-year-old to 77 years old. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, extended family, friends, and church family. I have 5 siblings and 13 nieces and nephews. Family is very important to me. My other hobbies I enjoy include the great outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
